In today's fast-paced mid-apocalyptic world&nbsp;it can feel like a waste of time to speak about time at all. Why dwell on the past when we could just live in the present because the future won't shut up about how bad it's going to be?&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;But with&nbsp;This Is The Kit,&nbsp;the pseudonym of&nbsp;songwriter / banjo&nbsp;strummer / pinhole camera lover / Winchester UK born Paris&nbsp;dweller Kate Stables, we're going to&nbsp;have to give&nbsp;time&nbsp;just a modicum of consideration. Because not only is Kate still here&nbsp;and&nbsp;making albums of&nbsp;cataclysmic honesty and welcoming tonal&nbsp;embraces, they are continuing to&nbsp;grow, which is probably&nbsp;the&nbsp;only smart way to move forward through time.&nbsp;&nbsp;This Is&nbsp;The Kit's music places companionship at a premium, so being&nbsp;welcomed into its space feels like an obvious&nbsp;privilege, on record and in concert hall with her stellar supporting cast of Rozi Plain (bass), Jamie Whitby-Coles (drums) and Neil Smith (guitar).&nbsp;And at this current point in our confusing history, continuing to be here at all, to stand tall and make music to gather to, that's a&nbsp;heroic act. Joyful survival as an act of&nbsp;time-wasting,&nbsp;I'll take that any day of the week. For over a decade, Earl Sweatshirt has captivated fans with his virtuosic storytelling, lyrical depth, and generous vulnerability. Emerging at just 16 from the incendiary Odd Future collective, he quickly distinguished himself through dense introspection, off-kilter cadences, and a brooding intellect that belied his youth. Across critically acclaimed albums like Doris, I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside, Some Rap Songs, Sick!, and Voir Dire, Earl has cemented himself as a definitive poet chronicling growth, self-discovery, and the moods of a generation. His new album Live Laugh Love (LLL) reflects a profound inner shift and meditative processing of his life as a father and artist in his 30s, weaving spiritual symbolism, personal responsibility, and poetic nuance into a surrealist contemplation of chaos and connection. Through steady, palpable growth and moments of joy and laughter, LLL boldly confirms Earl’s evolution into an artist embracing his journey, however imperfect, and grounding himself in resilience, creativity, and enduring honesty.

Falkirk based musician/filmmaker/photographer Adam Stafford issues his sixteenth solo album (under his own name) entitled `Prilitex', an abbreviation of "Private Little Exorcisms" or "Extractions/Excursions/Ecstasies". Recorded as a co-production with Neil Pennycook of Meursault and regular collaborator Robbie Lesiuk the LP sees Stafford return to the song/ lyric-based material of his acclaimed solo albums `Build a Harbour Immediately' (2011), `Imaginary Walls Collapse' (2013) and `Diamonds of a Horse Famine' (2020), inviting collaborations from vocalist/violinist Robyn Dawson (also Meursault), Ceylan Hay (Bell Lungs) and drummer Sean Mitchell (Lloyd's House) as well as contributions from both Pennycook on keyboards/bowed banjo and Lesiuk on bass and guitar. The result is an eleven track collection of some of Stafford's strongest and melodically tight compositions to date, many flying under the 4-minute mark and incorporating a myriad of styles and influences.


Based in East Lothian, Neil/Meursault has developed over the years from his scratchy, lo-fi beginnings to become one of Scotland's most unique, contemporary voices. Meursault plays Guitar, Piano, Banjo, Synth, sampler & Drum Machine.


M. John Henry is the solo guise of Lanarkshire singer-songwriter Martin John Henry. Henry cut his songwriting teeth in the band De Rosa who released three critically acclaimed albums on Glasgow's Chemikal Underground and Rock Action labels between 2006-2016. He has since released solo albums "The Other Half of Everything" and "Strange Is The Way" on Gargleblast Records. Henry has collaborated with Malcolm Middleton, King Creosote, Barry Burns of Mogwai, author Michel Faber and renowned harper and composer Gillian Fleetwood. He is currently in Whin - a duo project with Life Without Buildings guitarist Robert Dallas Gray - and sings in the Scottish electronic pop group Jewel Scheme. "Early Songs, Of Late" - a new album of reworked versions of his early De Rosa material was released in early 2026.
